El nombre de la manifestación será "No a la violencia", y será una respuesta a los recientes actos vandálicos que han dejado como saldo ocho personas muertas, entre ellas un bebé que estaba por nacer.

Tito ha declarado: "Mi equipo de trabajo y yo estamos organizando un evento que nos una a todos como pueblo. No se trata de Tito 'El Bambino', sino de los puertorriqueños por los puertorriqueños. Es hora de que hagamos algo para tener una mejor calidad de vida. Necesitamos paz y la necesitamos lo más pronto posible. Quiero que todos los colegas, de todos los géneros, se unan, así como los periódicos, los canales y hasta las entidades de Gobierno y sin fines de lucro".

Todavía no hay fecha para el evento, pero el cantante ha instado a todos los miembros de las comunidades a que se unan a esta iniciativa desde sus residencias.

After spending the last 3 days searching for a costume I found that creating my own is more fun. Everything at Party City, Fairvilla and all the other places just didn't do it for me. On top of that, the costumes all range from 50 to 100 bucks. WTF? With vampires and zombies being the rage this year. I've decided to go as a Zombie. I started out with a blood red prom dress I purchased at a thrift shop. So far so good.

PepsiCo is facing criticism for an iPhone application that promises to help men “score” with two dozen stereotypes of women by giving users pickup lines and a scoreboard to keep track of their conquests.

An apology by the company — which is using the app “Amp up before you score” to market its Amp energy drink — is igniting more online criticism. But the company is sticking by the app.

Spokeswoman Nicole Bradley said the application is available only to people 17 and older who “choose to opt in to the experience.”

Do you dream of being curvy or skinny?

There's been so much debate lately about curvy or "real women" type models vs the skinny ones. Just a couple of weeks ago a famous magazine from Germany called "Brigitte" , said it would only publish photographs of "real women" after readers complained they could not identify with the models depicted.

Now, fashion designer Karl Lagerfield was quoted as saying "No one wants to see curvy women,"
hmmmmmmm this really made me think. I'm a firm believer that there should be more real women out there in our magazines but at the same time confess to enjoying seeing thing women on magazines because it's motivating.
