Recognition

Wow, I'm for one very surprised at everything that is happening in my career. Over 25 yrs ago when my mother started taking me to castings in NYC and Philadelphia I never imagined I would still be doing this. I knew I loved it and that it came natural but to be here doing radio and tv and being recognized for it was never a set plan. This past saturday I was recognized by Latino Leadership and it was so emotional for me. My family was there rooting me on and as I accepted this and listened to Marytza talk about me I felt so much gratitude in my soul. You see, sometimes we become a little selfish and say "I did this on my own" and that's very far from the truth. It takes a strong supportive group of people to continue in this business if not the vultures will eat you alive...I'm serious! So thanks to all the people who support me especially my mother. She's my number one cheerleader!

Uff last week was horrible for me. I'm trying to cut down on rice but it seems like the more you try mas ganas te dan. By the looks of the teeth, no hace falta dna test but even then I'm just as surprised as the next person to hear that Carlos Baute has a son. When Baute tenia 15 años tuvo un niño con una chica de 13 y al enterarse sus padres (supuestamente) se mudaron. 19 years later baby momma shows up in Spain and was like "yo bitch! colgando en tus manos is making money..waz up with child support?" okay..she probably didn't use those exact words but I'm sure it was close to that. Baute se realizó las pruebas de paternidad el pasado 15 de diciembre, para comprobar que si es realmente el padre de José Daniel, un joven venezolano que saltó a los medios el pasado año afirmando ser hijo del cantante.

I can't express with words who happy I am about the news that John Travolta and his wife Kelly Preson (47) are expecting a baby. That goes to show that despite all the suffering and hardship they both suffered after the lost of their son back in jan/09 God always had a plan. Right now she'a about 3 months along and this is a celebration of life for all of John's fans. God never abandons us and that's a fact!

A North Carolina waitress is out of a job after griping on her Facebook page about the $5 tip she got from a couple who sat at their table for three hours.The waitress says the customers kept her at work an hour after she was supposed to clock out.

The Charlotte Observer reported Monday that 22-year-old Ashley Johnson felt slighted after waiting on the couple at Brixx Pizza.

So she blasted the couple on Facebook, calling them cheap and mentioning the restaurant by name.

Brixx officials told Johnson a couple of days later that she was being fired because she violated a company policy banning workers from speaking disparagingly about customers and casting the restaurant in a bad light on a social network.

According to a just-released survey from tech shopping site Retrevo, a good 32 percent of social-network users admit they've posted something to their accounts that they later wished they hadn't....I've seen those over and over again. I'm going to be very honest with you, when I see those crazy comments I normally ignore them depending on who they come from but do you really want to be close friends with someone who post things like "bitch ur going to pay for it" or "that asshole should die" I'm afraid of that crap and would never hire or be close friends with that sort of person. I guess I'm fairly blunt and honest and if I have an issue with someone I just tell them. Not rant about it in a cowardly manner online. Why? Why agravate the rest of us? Reconsider what you post because you may be scaring off potentially great people.
